The Fuel Allowance is payable to people who satisfy the conditions of the scheme and who either live alone or only with certain qualified people living at their address.
As the person concerned has not previously awarded the Fuel Allowance, they must complete an application form and submit it to the Department in order to have their eligibility assessed and a formal decision made.
To date no application for fuel allowance has been received from the person concerned for the current period. An application form for fuel allowance was sent to the person concerned on 20 September 2024
I trust this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
