In December 2023, I announced the successful projects that are approved funding under my Department's Multi-annual Rural Water Programme for the waste water collection and treatment needs for villages without access to public waste water services.

I can confirm that Galway County Council applied and were approved funding under the Programme for a project in the village of Craughwell.

Each local authority has a Rural Water Liaison Officer with responsibility for the day to day implementation of the projects under the Programme in their area and is best placed to provide the requested information. The officer can be contacted at the Rural Water Section of Galway County Council.
