The school to which the Deputy refers was approved to enter the department’s pipeline for a project under my Department's Additional School Accommodation (ASA) Scheme. The project will provide a two classroom Special Educational Needs (SEN) base and a General Purpose room. The project was devolved for delivery to the school authority.

My department has received a Stage 1 report from the school authority. Members of our Technical team have reviewed the report and requested a further submission from the design team. We are currently awaiting this further submission.

My department will continue to work closely with the school authority and its Design Team in progressing this much needed project.
