To ask the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to the difficulties that applicants to the online certificates section of the HSE are having when asked to provide payment due to the site’s inability to handle strong customer authentication; the reason the site has not been updated to accommodate this widespread practice that has been in place for some years; and the date by which all HSE sites will be fully updated to handle strong customer authentication. As the Health Service Executive holds responsibility for the provision, along with the maintenance and operation of Primary Care Centres, I have asked the HSE to respond to the Deputy directly, as soon as possible.
