To ask the Minister for Health his plans and timeline to improve the newborn screening programme in order to bring us in line with newborn screening in other EU countries, with an average of 18 conditions being screened at a minimum; the progress on screening since the establishment of the Newborn Screening Advisory Committee in 2019; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
