As Minister for Health, I deal primarily with legislation and governance issues and the Health Service Executive (HSE), under the Health Act 2004, is required to manage and deliver health and personal social services.
As Minister for Health, I am not in a position to make comment on individual cases and I have no role in the clinical decision-making process.
