541. To ask the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine if the case for the provision of a floating pier at a location (details supplied) can be examined; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [36074/24]

It is my understanding that Inchagoill Island in Lough Corrib is in the ownership of Coillte. As Coillte was established as a private commercial company under the Forestry Act, 1988, day-to-day operational matters, such as the installation of a floating pier on the island, are the responsibility of the company.

I have referred the matter to Coillte for direct follow-up with the Deputy.
