An application for a Personal Public Service Number from the person concerned has not yet been received by my Department.

Information on the requirements to apply for a Personal Public Service Number (PPSN) is available on . Over 18s, residing in Ireland must complete an online application, after which they will be called for an in-person interview at one of my department' offices. They will need to provide identity documents and evidence of their need for a PPSN and address.

Queries relating to visas are a matter for the Department of Justice.

I hope this clarifies the matter for the Deputy.
