The following link outlines the special advisers employed by the Department of Health in tabular form for the years 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023 and 2024 to date.
The Minister's Special Adviser has lead responsibility for providing support to the Minister on policy matters, including in respect of delivery of health aspects of the Programme for Government.
The Media Adviser provides professional advice to the Minister on media matters and works with senior officials in the Department and HSE in devising communications plans and responding to media issues.
