Under the Health Act 2004, as amended, the HSE is responsible for the provision of health and social services including addiction services. The HSE either provides these services directly or arranges to have them provided on its behalf.

HSE Capital and Estates prepares the HSE's annual Capital Plan in conjunction with operational services, taking account of contractual commitments, investment priorities and available funding.

It is suggested that organisations applying for HSE capital funding contact their local addiction service manager in the first instance.
