All budgetary submissions and business cases received by officials in my Department are dealt with as part of the normal Budget Estimates procedure. The process of evaluating submissions in advance of Budget 2025 is ongoing between officials from my Department and colleagues from the Department of Public Expenditure, National Development Plan Delivery and Reform. This process is iterative, and it would not be appropriate to comment on any specific submission.

Separately, in relation to an ongoing funding application from FASD Ireland, I note that HSE Mid West released funding of €133,000 to the organisation in recent weeks, with the remainder of the committed funding to be paid monthly until the end of 2024.
