My Department has advised that the lands in question were acquired under the Charteris Estate in County Tipperary by the Irish Land Commission (ILC) in 1962 and subsequently allotted by the ILC under a Purchase Agreement which was vested and lodged in Tailte Éireann for registration. Responsibility for any issues relating to the ownership of these lands is now, therefore, a private matter between the parties concerned.

Maps showing the acquired and vested lands are available in the Records Branch of my Department which is located in Clonminam Business Park, Portlaoise.
