PTR (Pupil Teacher Ratio) is the average number of pupils per teacher.

My Department uses the overall allocated number of teachers in the primary and post primary sectors, and the number of students registered on the Primary Online Database (POD) and the Post Primary Online Database (PPOD) to calculate the PTR across each sector.
