The Office of Public Works (OPW) is responsible for the maintenance of arterial drainage schemes completed under the Arterial Drainage Acts, 1945 and 1995, as amended.
The location concerned forms part of the Corrib-Headford Arterial Drainage Scheme. The channels at the location concerned are currently included in the OPW Annual Maintenance Programme for 2025 and will be surveyed in the coming weeks to plan the scope of works involved.
