The Office of Public Works (OPW) does not control the disused church called the Coolie Chapel, which is on the grounds of St. Mary's Hospital in the Phoenix Park. The church is under the administration of the HSE.

The OPW cares for the grounds surrounding the church. The OPW has restored the perimeter wall and has undertaken work to repair gravestones in the curtilage of the church.
