I have asked the HSE to respond directly to the Deputy on these matters, however it should be noted that the public health service does not have a specific absence code that can be used to identify employees who were not eligible for the Special Scheme re Long Covid, who are absent due to long Covid and are being supported by the Public Service Sick Leave Scheme.
