I have not spoken with Wes Streeting, since his appointment as Secretary of State for Health and Social Care on 5 July 2024. I look forward to engaging with Secretary of State Streeting, when the opportunity arises. In the meantime, officials from my Department will continue close and productive cooperation with their counterparts in the Department of Health and Social Care in the UK.
