Cavan & Monaghan Hospital have two operating CT scanners and one MRI scanner located in Cavan General Hospital.

There are currently no plans to increase the number of CT and MRI scanners in Cavan &?Monaghan Hospital.

The Clinical Director and Senior Management Team have not submitted a business case for additional MRI and CT Scanner modality at Cavan and Monaghan Hospital as clear clinical pathways exist that support the region.
