1771.To ask the Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth if he will respond to matters raised in correspondence from an organisation in Dublin 11 (details supplied) regarding funding for therapeutic mental health interventions and supports; the steps his Department is taking to reduce waiting list times for counselling services in the Dublin 11 area; whether he will engage with the organisation in question further to address their concerns about a lack of funding; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Deputy is seeking information in relation to an operational matter for Tusla, the Child and Family Agency. Consequently, I have referred the matter to Tusla, and requested that a direct response be provided to the Deputy.
