The number of pet passports that were issued by my Department to Private Veterinary Practices (PVPs) in the years 2023 and to-date in 2024 is set out below in tabular form.

On average, my Department requires 1-3 working days to process an order received and issue passports to the PVPs, who in turn, issue the pet passports to pet owners. The timeframe for an individual to receive a passport from a PVP would be a matter for the PVP.
