161.To ask the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport if he is satisfied that the flight paths at the north runway at Dublin Airport were appropriately environmentally assessed, including, but not limited to, the International Civil Aviation Organisation Guidance Material - Environmental Assessment of Proposed Air Traffic Management Operational Changes; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I would like to advise the Deputy that the daa is responsible for the operation, planning and development of Dublin Airport. In addition, EU Reg 139/2014 places the responsibility for design & maintenance of flight procedures on the airport operator, and I have therefore directed your question to the daa for direct response.

If the Deputy does not receive a response within ten working days, please contact my Private Office.
