The number of cases taken by my Department or by State agencies / bodies under my Departments aegis against another Government Department, State agency or State body in each of the past five years is one.
This was a case taken by Coillte Teoranta CLG (a State body under the aegis of my Department) against the Commissioner for Environmental Information. The case commenced in 2023 and is currently the subject of a preliminary reference from the High Court to the Court of Justice of the European Union on a point of European law.
