1208.To ask the Minister for Housing, Planning, and Local Government for an update on the progress of the regeneration of Noonan's Road and the surrounding streets. [33642/24]

Cork City Council has advised that they are assessing the potential for redevelopment and regeneration of social housing at Noonan's Road. Feasibility is at an early stage and is connected with the planned relocation of residents from their existing accommodation. The Council has also advised that in due course, when initial feasibility is concluded and a procurement and design route chosen, a submission will be made to the Department.

Once received, my Department will liaise with and review the proposal submitted by Cork City Council in this regard.
