As Minister for Environment, Climate and Communications I have no function in the matter raised in the Question.

The Water Services Act 2013, Irish Water, now known as Uisce éireann, was established following the commencement of the Water Services (Amendment) Act 2022. This act is responsible for bringing water and wastewater services to local authorities, and falls under the remit of my colleague the Minister for Housing, Local Government and Heritage.
