My Department publishes comprehensive programme-level statistics on social housing delivery activity in all local authority areas on the statistics page of its website. The data requested is not available by municipal area but by local authority administrative area and can be found on my Department’s website at this link:

The following table sets out the HAP Landlord Payments for Galway City Council and Galway County Council for the years 2020 to 2023.

This funding represents the portion paid by my Department after receipt of the differential rent which is paid by the tenant to the local authority. It does not include administration costs related to the HAP scheme. This data is published on an annual basis.
