Through my Department's Multi-annual Developer Provided Water Services Infrastructure Resolution Programme significant funding has been provided to local authorities for housing estates that rely on water services infrastructure provided by the developer of the estate (DPI).

The aim of the Programme is to provide funding that assists the local authorities to implement solutions that resolve the DPI issues and in doing so enable these housing estates be taken in charge.

Clare County Council made a request for funding to my Department under the DPI Programme to co-fund projects to resolve issues with DPI in a number of housing estates in Ardnacrusha.

In June 2023, I approved the funding request to allow these projects to commence and be delivered to completion without delay.

Clare County Council have responsibility to manage these projects and are best placed to provide the details requested.
