The Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) manage a range number programmes across energy efficiency, renewable energy, innovation and integration. The administration and management of grant applications under these schemes are an operational matter for the SEAI.

The specific data requested by the Minister is not routinely supplied by SEAI to my Department. I have directed SEAI to reply directly to the Minister with the data requested for Co. Galway, in so far as it is available, as soon as possible.

SEAI has established a specific email address for queries from Oireachtas members so that such queries can be addressed promptly, in line with SEAI’s objective to deliver services to the highest standards. The email address is oireachtas@seai.ie.

I refer to the reply to Question No. 162 of 21 May 2024. The position is unchanged.

Applicants can contact SEAI at any time to get further information on the status of their application either by email to or by phone to 1800 250 204. Oireachtas members can make queries on behalf of applicants by contacting the dedicated email address .
