There is currently no specific legal requirement under the Wild Salmon and Sea Trout Tagging Scheme Regulations, for anglers or commercial fishermen to tag or report Pink salmon (Oncorhynchus gorbuscha) caught. Therefore, the issue of prosecution does not arise.
