I wish to inform the Deputy that while Culture Ireland in my Department funds Irish artists to tour globally, if they have secured a paid opportunity to present their work at an international venue or festival, it does not provide funding for attendance at conferences such as that referred to in the Deputy's question. The local authority may have an interest in the initiative outlined by the Deputy.
