The Creative Ireland Programme, in collaboration with the Department of Environment, Climate, and Communications, announced an open call to the Creative Climate Action Fund II: Agents of Change in December 2022. Applications for the fund closed in March 2023. Responses were invited from across the Arts, Cultural and Creative Industries, including literature.

22 projects were awarded up to €50,000 under the Spark strand and 16 projects were awarded up to €250,000 under the Ignite strand. Spark projects will conclude in December 2024, while Ignite projects will conclude in December 2025.

A further funding call relating to creative climate action is not currently scheduled.
