Applications were received under the Basic Income Support for Sustainability Scheme for the Scheme year 2023 from 204 herd numbers in respect of land parcels on at least one of the three Aran Islands. An analysis of this data indicates that 192 of these herd numbers were approved into the Agri-Climate Rural Environment Scheme (ACRES).
