To ask the Minister for Health if it is intended that Beaumont Hospital’s live kidney donor programme will be expanded to accommodate organ donations from non-directed altruistic donors; if so, whether that expansion must await commencement of Part 2 of the Human Tissue (Transplantation, Post-Mortem, Anatomical Examination and Public Display) Act 2024; when he proposes to commence Part 2; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
