215. To ask the Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht if her attention has been drawn to calls from the unscripted television production sector to ensure that inward investment is encouraged through a tax incentive in line with section 481 for the scripted sector; and if she will make a statement on the matter. Tax reliefs and tax expenditures, including the introduction of any new tax relief for the unscripted production sector, are the responsibility of my cabinet colleague, the Minister for Finance.

I am aware of calls from the unscripted production sector for a tax incentive and reference was made to the unscripted production sector in Budget 2024 and understand the Minister for Finance and his officials are examining and analysing these proposals.
