I have spoken with Foreign Minister Al-Nahyan of the UAE, most recently in February on the situation in Gaza and in December during COP 28.

Officials from my Department meet and speak with the Ambassador and his staff regularly, while our Ambassador in the United Arab Emirates and her staff are in frequent contact with the UAE authorities.
