The school to which the Deputy refers was recently granted approval to initiate works for reconfiguration of the existing school building to create two Special Education Needs Classrooms, universal access wc and soft play area together with the reconfiguration of the GP hall to create two Mainstream classrooms and one Special Education Tuition room under my Department's SEN Reconfiguration/Modular Accommodation Programme.

This programme involves the use of Project Management supports which is designed to enable the accommodation to be provided as quickly as possible and help ease the administrative workload for school authorities in relation to the management and delivery of projects. The use of the Department’s Term Maintenance Framework also reduces the lead in periods for procurement of contractors . The Project Management team assigned to this project will be in contact with the School Authority shortly.
