Ireland currently has one bilateral agreement with Morocco for the avoidance of double taxation and fiscal evasion with respect to taxes on income. The Convention for the Avoidance of Double Taxation was signed on 22 June 2010 and entered into force on 10 September 2012.

Official cooperation between the EU and Morocco falls under the Euro-Mediterranean Association Agreement which entered into force in March 2000; the Neighbourhood, Development and International Cooperation Instrument (NDICI); and the European Neighbourhood Policy. At the EU-Morocco Association Council on 27 June 2019, a joint declaration was issued which outlined key priorities for the developing EU-Morocco relationship. In October 2022, the EU-Morocco Green Partnership was signed under the framework of the EU Green New Deal.
