My Department has been working closely with the Department of Agriculture, Food and the Marine over the past number of months to formalise lease arrangements on a number of Coast Guard buildings located within Fishery Harbour Centres.

Formalising the lease arrangement in Howth has been a priority, in particular, so that the requirements of the unit can be formally reviewed with a view to extending the current facility at that location.

The lease is currently being finalised with the CSSO.
