I understand that the matter referred to by the Deputy was submitted to Inland Fisheries Ireland (IFI) as a protected disclosure to be processed in accordance with the statutory provisions of the Protected Disclosures Act and IFI’s Protected Disclosures Policy.

The progression and management of a protected disclosure received by IFI is a matter for IFI, as an independent statutory agency.

IFI has established a specific email address for queries from Oireachtas members so that queries can be addressed promptly, in line with IFI’s objective to deliver services to the highest standards. The email address is oireachtas@fisheriesireland.ie
