467.To ask the Minister for Employment Affairs and Social Protection if she would support a change in the law to allow people to register their gender as intersex or to change it from indeterminate to intersex either through self-identification or medical advice. [25152/24]

The Gender Recognition Act 2015 allows a person to change their preferred gender. The General Register Office facilitates this process by providing a gender recognition certificate to any applicant who meets the criteria set out in the Act.
