To make an application for a bus driving licence, an applicant must first hold a valid full category B (car or light van) driving licence. To drive professionally on a D licence, a driver must also obtain a certificate of professional competence (CPC). Details on the steps required to obtain a bus licence are available on the RSA’s website at the following link.
