To ask the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade when a passport will be issued in the case of a person (details supplied), given the passport was supposed to issue on 24 April 2024; if every effort can be made to ensure that this passport is expedited given its now one month since the processing target; and if he will make a statement on the matter. With regard to the specific application about which the Deputy has enquired, the Passport Service has reviewed the application, taken action as appropriate and contacted the applicant directly in relation to the application.
