Horse Racing Ireland (HRI) is a commercial State body established under the Horse and Greyhound Racing Act, 2001, and is responsible for the overall administration, promotion and development of the horse racing industry. HRI operates under the aegis of my Department.

HRI and my Department have received an invitation from the Dail Public Accounts Committee to meet its members on 20 June 2024. The agenda of the meeting relates to HRI's 2022 audited financial statements.
