The school to which the Deputy refers was approved to enter the Department’s pipeline of school buildings for a project to provide refurbishment works to create 5 General Classrooms as part of the Additional School Accommodation Scheme.

My Department is awaiting the submission by the school authority of the necessary paperwork for draw down of funding which confirms that the school has completed all the statutory, technical and design checks required as per the Department’s procedures and guidelines prior to funds being released.

Once this paperwork has been received and reviewed at my Department, funds will be issued for this project.
