The person concerned reached pension age on 28 June 2023. To date, there is no record of receipt of an application for state pension (contributory).

In order for entitlement to be determined, an application must be submitted to my department. I have arranged for an application form to issue along with a copy of their insurance record.

On receipt of the completed application, their entitlement will be examined and they will notified of the outcome.

I hope this clarifies the position for the Deputy.
