The premises referred to on Catherine Street in Waterford is State owned, and is part of the Office of Public Works’ (OPW) property portfolio.
The South Eastern Regional Maintenance Office operates from Catherine Street and there is both architectural and administrative staff based there. There are currently no plans to relocate these staff. The OPW continually appraises its accommodation portfolio in the context of ongoing demand across its client base. The future use of the properties in this region will be monitored in light of office accommodation requirements across OPW’s portfolio, and the wider policy objectives of Government.
