My Department provides public information about the Department's wide range of schemes, services and policies. This includes the publication of Statutory Notices, required to comply with various national and EU legislative requirements, and the placement of advertisements, in national, local and specialist print media.

Print media is one of the channels used for our public information campaigns, including farm safety and the new forestry programme in 2023. Both impacted on the increase in spending in 2023.

A breakdown of expenditure on the placement of advertisements and notices in print media for the period requested is set out in the below table. A list of the print publications involved is set out in the attached document.
