To ask the Tánaiste and Minister for Justice and Equality how many individuals released on licence in the UK have returned to Ireland during their licence period in the past five years; whether these individuals have been provided with any supervision, support or any other form of engagement by the Probation Service; whether any consideration has been given to entering into a formal agreement with the probation services of England and Wales to facilitate the transfer of post release supervision between the two jurisdictions, similar that with Northern Ireland; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
