My Department and its Offices paid a total of €66,672in prompt payment interest and compensation to suppliers for the years 2016 up to 24 November 2023 ( see attached table ). The table does not include payments by the Department's Agencies. The table includes details of the top five suppliers who received the largest total in prompt payment interest and compensation in each year and what goods /services were provided by them in relation to that late payment.
