To ask the Minister for Agriculture, Food and the Marine how many applications for funding have been received to date under the reconstitution ash dieback scheme 2023-2027; how many applications have been successful; the total funding allocated and the number of grant recipients per county to date, in tabular form; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Reconstitution Scheme for ash dieback involves three payment stages, site clearance, replanting first grant and replanting second grant. Applications have been received for both site clearance and replanting first grant under the interim scheme 2023. Whilst no funding applications have yet been received in respect of the Forestry Programme 23-27, there has been 75 approvals for 359Ha issued in recent weeks.

Under the interim scheme, 28 applications for the Site clearance have been received and 18 of these have been paid with the other 10 being processed. 11 applications for the first replanting grant have been received and 4 of these have been paid.
