155. To ask the Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade further to Parliamentary Question No. 52 of 14 November 2023, of the €60 million increase in Official Development Assistance in vote 27, how much was contained in the 'budget decisions'; and how much came from 'to be allocated' as outlined in the summer economic statement. As I mentioned in my response to the Parliamentary Question referred to by the Deputy, the Government has allocated €776.5 million in 2024 to Vote 27 - International Cooperation. This is an increase of €60 million on the 2023 Revised Estimate for Vote 27.

Decisions taken as part of Budget 2024 were consistent with and within the overall envelope of the expenditure increases announced in the Summer Economic Statement.
